WEB DEVELOPER/DESIGNER
From front end to back-end development of small and large scale sites, to the ongoing development and maintenance of client sites, the Web Deeveloper/Designer position is very important.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with web designers and develop back-end all websites including marketing pieces and client projects.
- Create enhancements and modifications to web sites; organize and maintain the sites
- Code primarily in PHP, HTML, MySQL and Flash
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong knowledge in all areas of development: PHP/CSS/Flash/XML/MySQL/SQL are required. Knowledge of AJAX/ASP/XHTML/Accessibility are preferred.
- Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
- Experience in integration of Internet applications with internal client systems (inventory management, customer management, e-commerce, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to evaluate new and evolving website technologies.
- Basic understanding of current authoring languages, editing and authoring tools, and related website technologies.
- Knowledge and understanding of internet operations and functionality.
- Skill in computer graphics and layout as well as interactive media using Flash.
- Skill in the use of Homesite, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university is preferred
- At least 3+ years professional experience
